Here Comes Trouble

Tucker is 18 months old now. He is still into everything and we literally cannot take our eyes off him for a minute. Last week he somehow found a bottle of Afrin (yes i have my house childproofed with locks on cabinets but he somehow managed to get his hands on it) and he loosened the lid to the point where if he squeezed it, some of the liquid ran down the sides. He had it in his mouth when I found him so I called poison control just in case he swallowed some. They scared the mess out of me, but long story short, he's fine and probably didn't get much, if any. He has scrapes and brusies all over him and we are scared every day that daycare is going to call DFACS on us. I look at him and wonder how I created him because he is nothing at all like me and 110% like Wes. He can tear up a child proof toy in 30 seconds. I'll get him something new and be so excited when I bring it home to him, just to find it ruined after leaving him alone with it for a few minutes. But I love it and wouldn't have him any other way! He is still a very big eater and feels like a sack of lead. I will be having back surgery before I reach 40. He loves Sesame Street and can recognize and name all the main characters. He can also say his ABC's to D. He recently started saying "I love you" which is the sweetest sound in the world and makes my heart literally jump out of my chest. His school is really teaching him a lot, and he'll be moving up to a new class soon. We start survival swimming classes at the end of this month. I know it's going to be hard and we're hoping he won't cry too much, but its for the best, especially with us having a pool. Hope you are all doing well and we get a chance to see some of you soon.

Young Love

Here are some pictures we took this weekend of Tucker and his best friend, Coley. They love each other so much....every time Coley's Mama strolls her by our house she screams "Tucker Tucker Tucker!" and every morning when I take Tucker to school he cries out for Coley when we drive by her house! It is so cute! I am so grateful that one of my best childhood friends lives just a block down the road and our children can grow up together.
